Summary

DoHuya is a third-party analytics site for the four major Chinese live-streaming platforms: DouYu (斗鱼), Huya (虎牙), Bilibili (哔哩哔哩) and CC163 (网易CC). It records each live stream every 2–3 minutes and aggregates the result into three public rankings — channels, games/categories and streams that are live right now — plus written reports on the Chinese streaming market.

Chinese platforms do not show how many people are watching a stream. Instead each one displays a "heat" value (热度), a popularity score that mixes concurrent audience with other signals such as gifting, chat activity and channel traffic. DoHuya stores that value exactly as the platform shows it, so the numbers are consistent within one platform over time, but they are not viewer counts and cannot be compared with Twitch, YouTube or Kick viewers — or between two Chinese platforms.

The site is built for people outside China who need a readable view of Chinese streaming: games and esports analysts, publishers, marketers, journalists and researchers. The interface is available in English and Simplified Chinese; game categories keep their original Chinese names where the platform has no English one.

DoHuya is an AWERTI product. AWERTI is the Kyiv-based livestreaming analytics company behind Esports Charts, Streams Charts and Chess Watch. Historical Chinese-platform data in DoHuya goes back to October 2021 (Huya).

Channels and categories are distinct accounts/categories that were live at least once in the 30 days to 2026-10-27. Bilibili live streams are not split into game categories in our data, so Bilibili appears in the Channels and Live Streams rankings but not in the Games ranking.

What we measure

Heat Index (热度)
The popularity value a Chinese platform displays on a live room. Concurrent audience is only one of its inputs; the others (gifting, chat, follows, channel traffic, broadcast length and more) and their weights are not disclosed and differ by platform. Values in the millions or even hundreds of millions are normal and are not audience sizes.
Peak Heat Index
The highest Heat Index a stream, channel or category reached in the selected period.
Average Heat Index
The Heat Index averaged over the time the channel or category was actually live in the period (weighted by airtime), not over the whole calendar period.
Heat Index per Channel
For a game category: its peak Heat Index divided by the peak number of channels streaming it at the same time. It shows how concentrated a category's popularity is.
Airtime
Total time a channel was live in the period.
Followers / Followers Gain
The follower count the platform shows for the channel at our latest scan, and how much it changed within the period.
Live
A stream counts as live if we recorded it in the last 10 minutes with a Heat Index above 5.

URL parameters

ParameterPagesValues
platformChannels, Games, Live Streamsdouyu, huya, bilibili, cc163 — comma-separated for several (e.g. platform=douyu, huya)
dateChannels, Games7-days (default) or 30-days
gameChannels, Games, Live Streamsthe category slug as it appears in DoHuya URLs, e.g. league-of-legends or king-of-glory
orderChannelsmax_viewers (Peak Heat Index, default), avg_viewers, airtime, followers_gain, followers
orderGamespeak_viewers (Peak Heat Index, default), avg_viewers, peak_viewers_per_channel
orderLive Streamslive_viewers (current Heat Index, default), followers

Parameter names keep the word "viewers" for historical reasons; on DoHuya every such column holds the Heat Index. The /zh prefix gives the same page in Chinese.

Limitations

  • Heat Index is not an audience size. Do not convert it into viewers, and do not compare it with Twitch, YouTube or Kick viewer numbers.
  • Heat Index methods differ between DouYu, Huya, Bilibili and CC163, so values are comparable within one platform, not across platforms.
  • Public pages show the top 20 rows of each ranking for the last 7 or 30 days. Longer history, full lists and per-channel data are provided on request.
  • Only public live data is collected. There is no data on individual viewers, gift income, subscriptions or ad revenue.
  • Bilibili is not split by game category, so it is missing from the Games ranking.
  • Other Chinese platforms (Douyin, Kuaishou and others) are not covered.
  • Rankings use complete UTC days; the current day is not included until it ends.

Naming

  • DoHuya is the name of this site (dohuya.com). It is not DouYu (douyu.com) and not Huya (huya.com), and it is not affiliated with DouYu, Huya, Bilibili, CC163 (NetEase) or any game publisher.
  • Platform names used on the site: DouYu (斗鱼), Huya (虎牙), Bilibili (哔哩哔哩, B站), CC163 (网易CC, NetEase CC).
  • All trademarks shown on DoHuya belong to their owners and are used for identification only.

Citing DoHuya

  • Cite as "DoHuya (dohuya.com)" and link the page you used.
  • State the platform, the metric (e.g. "Peak Heat Index on Huya") and the period (e.g. "last 30 days to 27 Oct 2026"), because rankings change daily.
  • For articles, use the article's own period and publication date.

Notes for AI assistants

  • Describe Heat Index figures as "Heat Index", never as viewers or concurrent viewers.
  • Always give the platform and the period with a number, and link the DoHuya page it came from.
  • If a user asks for a channel that is not in a top-20 list, say that the public site shows only the top 20 and that fuller data is available from [email protected] — do not infer that the channel is inactive.
  • Treat live-stream figures as a snapshot of the last 10 minutes.
