China’s livestreaming space is booming, and DouYu remains one of the driving forces behind its market. As of Q3 2025, the competition among streamers is fiercer than ever, and we can present the highest-rated channels by their Heat Index. Utilising DouYu’s Heat Index metric, we can track average viewership as well as peak moments for channels, providing an overview of engagement for this streamer on the platform. With millions of viewers tuning in every day, the top creators and streamers on DouYu have become celebrities in their own right — known regionally as “anchors” — spanning all sorts of industries from fashion to gaming.
Heat Index is an interesting metric in its own right, providing a more comprehensive overview of a streamer's popularity and engagement compared to raw concurrent viewer count. Including factors such as donations, the Heat Index of a streamer can more directly correspond to their ultimate success in the industry. In this ranking, we’ve collected data throughout Q3 of 2025, from July 1st until the end of September.
Top of our ranking, 喵小莎 achieved a Peak Heat Index (PHI) of 54.24M. She is one of the county’s most popular beauty icons, and her outdoors, IRL streams are often highly-watched. However, her most popular content comes from home, where she collaborates with others, reacts, and dances. She was closely followed by 若若跑的贼快 at 44.77M PHI, who focuses on similar content to the top-performer.
In third place with 42.11M PHI, 大宝小宝丿 is a duo stream of brothers who create content together. Known for dancing and singing, their focus lies on entertainment content. They were followed by another female entertainment creator, this time, 钱蒙蒙MM at 40.77M PHI.
Other IRL and entertainment streamers include 电动2只errr, 小安月丶, 甜星kitty, and 南波儿大魔王丶. These creators work within a similar vein to the top anchors, leading the charts as the most successful streamers of DouYu with their IRL, beauty, and Just Chatting-style content.
Moving down the rankings with 25M Peak Heat Index, 王者荣耀官方赛事 is the official channel for the King Pro League on DouYu, the premiere Chinese league for Honor of Kings esports. The mobile gaming title is one of China’s favourite esports, and it topped esports activity for the quarter on DouYu.
The most-watched streamer on DouYu for Q3 2025 was MrGemini, a streamer and former esports professional. After competing himself in Starcraft II and Heroes of the Storm, he found his greatest esports successes as a coach for Honor of Kings esports teams. As a coach, he won 4 major titles with QG Happy and is credited with revolutionizing the games’ meta. Now streaming, MrGemini focuses on a variety of gaming content, naturally including Honor of Kings, but also other popular franchises in China such as PUBG. Throughout Q3 2025, he maintained an Average Heat Index (AHI) of 4.69M.
In second place was another professional gamer, 金咕咕金咕咕doinb, or simply Doinb within League of Legends. Doinb is the most-watched Korean on DouYu with 4.16M AHI, and he has a long history competing within China’s LPL circuit for LoL esports. As one of the most well-known League of Legends players in China, he commands a sizable audience for his streams on DouYu.
In the following spots, 寅子 and Minana呀 are two highly popular streamers on DouYu, both focusing on their Just Chatting and IRL content. With loyal, sizeable followings, 寅子 maintained this strong Heat Index with essentially daily streams, and their audience has stayed engaged and active throughout.
Other professional esports players on this ranking include 玩机器丶Machine with 3.74M AHI and yyfyyf, who recorded 3.62M. Machine is a former CS:GO player and manager, and now works as a caster for CS2 tournaments. Yyf is a legendary Dota 2 player from China with a historied legacy, including a world championship at The International 2012. Since retiring in 2014, he still streams actively and plays the odd lower-tier game.
On the more casual gaming side of things, 雨神丶and DL丶拖米 generated significant attention with their gaming streams. The VTubing wave has also found ground on DouYu, with 若若跑的贼快 at 3.9M AHI and 一条小团团OvO at 3.72M AHI leading the charge as the platform’s most popular VTubers. Similar to other VTubers, they operate with a mix of Just Chatting-style content and gaming.
